Baldock Residence

The Baldock Residence is a single family home located south of Jackson, overlooking the Snake River.  This design is intended to take advantage of the beautiful views and ample sunlight that occur on the site.  A passive solar design allows the residents to enjoy the shade in the summer and full sunlit spaces during the colder months, dramatically cutting down on their energy use.

Work done with Stewart Construction Services

The Palmer Residence was the first building I designed professionally while working for Stewart Construction Services.  This house served as a design build, as I designed the residence and then was part of the construction crew as well.  Very few designers have had the chance to be a carpenter on their own work and this has helped me greatly in my ability to understand and communicate with builders and tradespeople on a level that most architects cannot.
